All to often we hear how a child has "slipped through the cracks" of Social Services. This I can't comprehend!!! I don't want to hear about case loads and staff shortage!!! I personally know of too many times they have spent wasted hours, investigating Parents who don't deserve it!! It's usually a custody battle and one Parent thinks " Aha!" " I know how I'll win!" and then proceeds to call Child Services on the other. Then the "Battle Royal" begins!
I can say for myself, I can pretty much see the signs of a child that is in need of help, and that's WITHOUT having access to their home!
I have seen Child Services destroy innocent people's lives, tearing children away from their parents while they do their "Investigation?" Ignoring all reports to the contrary from Psychologists, neighbors even their OWN findings!!! Wasting countless man hours on an obviuos false accusation!!!!
Yet for every one of these cases-goes hundreds of "Uninvestigated" ones- because they claim they "Didn't have the man power" So this leaves the door open for the real abusers, molesters and pedophiles to do all the harm they want, completely unchecked!!!
I think they waste so much time on the innocent because it's an easy paycheck!!! The innocent know they're innocent, so they comply in every way, being sure that this will clear them and they will get their children and lives back. The innocent are basically non-threatening!!!
Meanwhile, the guilty do exactly what the guilty do- lie, con,manipulate,threaten, hide and intimidate and eventually kill, maim, and/or permanently scar a child whether it be emotional or physical!
If you can't handle facing that kind of adversary- get a different job!!!!!!!!! You are the ones ultimately responsible for our injured children- in that YOU DID NOTHING, because it was too DIFFICULT!!!!!!!!!!!!
